Advent Events

Jesus the Greatest Gift Sermon Series
Who are the people that witness the miracle
of Jesus' birth in Bethlehem?  What are their stories?
We'll hear from Elizabeth (Mary's cousin and the mother
of John the Baptist), one of the wise men who followed the star from the East to bring gifts to the newborn Jesus, and from the midwife who helped Mary during her labor.  We'll prepare our hearts, minds and spirits to receive the Christ child into our midst.
Join us as we focus on the reason for our celebration this season!

Parish Caroling Party ~ Saturday December 17th
Gather at Trinity at 4pm
Some of us will go to the Good Shepherd home in Seymour
and other area nursing homes to carol for their residents.
The rest will stay at Trinity and get everything ready
for the sing along.  We should be back to church around 5pm
and then we'll have carol singing and share a time of fellowship.
Bring your voice, your spirit and some cookies to share!

Christmas Drama
During worship on Sunday December 18th
At Trinity our chidlren, youth and adults will bring you
the story of Jesus' birth.  At St. John's the younger children
will share the story of the animals in the mager where Jesus was born.

St. John's Christmas Festival
Sunday December 18th at 7pm
Celebrate the story of Christmas in word and song.
There will be several short plays, the Christmas story from the scriptures and a time for you to call out your favorite carols.  After the festival we'll have time for fellowship & a birthday cake for Jesus!  Invite your friends...everyone is welcome.

Christmas Eve Services ~ Saturday December 24th

to help us celebrate the birth of Jesus
